Handicap tournament conditions

Points are earned based on the rating difference (using the latest ACF ratings) between yourself and your opponent. Unrated players will be given a rating before round 1. For each game played, there is 60 points available, distributed between the players, based on how well they did against the chance of their result based on their rating. Basically, you are rewarded for playing better than your rating. The table below indicated how points are allocated.

Unapproved forfeit

Player forfeiting gets 0 the opponent gets max of 45 based on rating difference.

Approved requested bye

Player gets 30 points. Players must advise DOP before Sunday prior to scheduled time. The player must have a good reason and must be unable to arrangement a postponement.

Normal bye

Player gets 45 points.
